Tribute: Gilani approves commemorative Arfa Karim postage stamp

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani approved the issuance of a commemorative postage stamp for late Arfa Karim Randhawa, the youngest certified Microsoft professional in the world on Friday.

Gilani gave approval for the commemorative stamp in recognition of Arfa’s achievements at such a young age.

Arfa, who became the microsoft certified professional at the age of nine, breathed her last on January 14 at the Combined Military Hospital in Lahore.

Arfa had an epileptic attack on December 22 and had been in a coma since, while well-wishers prayed and watched her progress closely.
