Highway Crime: Six men kidnapped and found

THATTA: Around six truck drivers were kidnapped and three fertiliser containers were stolen by 15 men near Sajawal on Thursday. The trucks drivers were on their way to Badin from Karachi. Two drivers identified as Ali Samejo and Sajad managed to escape and informed the police. DSP Sujawal Gul Abbas, SHO Aijaz Sheikh and Ali Sher Khaskheli carried out a raid and recovered the fertiliser containers at Jungshahi, Jati Road and Sajawal. One of the bags was found at a police officer’s house in Makli. A man identified as Fayaz Pirzado was also arrested. The other four kidnapped drivers were also rescued. The police said that an investigation was underway.
