Nestaval indicated his desire for a greater transfer of technology from the Czech Republic to Pakistan, in order to improve its working efficiencies in the energy production and business sectors. Czech technology will help facilitate Pakistan in achieving greater competency in the global markets and add greater value to its traditional exports which would augment its foreign exchange earnings, he noted.
He revealed that offices of the Pegasus Consultancy and the CSOK had been opened in each of their partner’s countries with the aim of facilitating businessmen in accessing the Central European and Central Asian markets respectively. Single country exhibitions of Pakistan in Prague and the Czech Republic in Pakistan had been discussed with the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and were also in the works.
Nestaval in a separate meeting during the day also offered to organise a joint conference on ‘Investment Opportunities in Pakistan’ to improve business relations between the two countries.
