Possession of arms: Soldier on leave caught with weapons

KANDHKOT: The excise police arrested two men on Tuesday morning from a passenger coach going to Lahore from Quetta. Raban Chachar and his cousin Manzoor Ahmed were caught from Dera Morr in the limits of Guddu police station. Chachar is an employee of the Baloch Regiment, posted at Okara Cantonment. He was going home to Jacobabad. Three Kalashnikovs, five magazines and 300 bullets were seized from Chachar’s official bag, said inspector Abdul Hakim Bughio. The men taken to Guddu police station and an FIR was registered against them under Section 13 D of the Arms Ordinance.
