Custom call: Auction of smuggled items on Jan 18

MULTAN: Multan customs is scheduled to auction non-custom-paid cars and smuggled items on January 18. According to customs officials, three cars, a stock of tyres, plastic, smuggled cloth and artificial leather were seized by the department several months ago and is scheduled to be auctioned at the office of customs intelligence and investigations office in Rajapur. “Most of the stock is brand new and the auction will begin on January 18,” said customs official Mehmood Asad.  Deputy director customs intelligence and investigations Farrukh Sharif will supervise the auction process.
