Tick tock: Bomb de-fused outside graveyard

According to bomb disposal staff device weighed about 2 kgs and was successfully diffused within a few minutes.

KHANPUR: A bomb discovered at a graveyard close to Imambargah Darbar-e-Hussain was diffused by a district bomb disposal squad on Monday morning. A local resident spotted the bomb placed along the wall of the graveyard where funeral prayer for victims of the Chehlum procession blast were about to be offered after Asr prayers. He immediately called the police and a bomb disposal squad arrived at the scene. According to bomb disposal staff the device weighed about 2 kilogrammes and was successfully diffused within a few minutes.
