Football: Grant named Partizan Belgrade coach
According to reports, Grant has agreed a €900,000 monthly salary.
BELGRADE:
Israel’s Avram Grant, who led Chelsea to the 2008 Champions League final, was named coach of Serbian champions Partizan Belgrade. Partizan Belgrade, who at the same time announced the sacking of Grant’s predecessor Aleksandar Stanojevic, did not reveal any details of the transfer. According to reports, Grant has agreed a €900,000 monthly salary. The 56-year-old has also negotiated an option for a €400,000 bonus if he succeeds in qualifying Partizan for the Champions League.
