The commission had submitted its report to Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani earlier this week. The information minister said that according to the commission’s report, the culprits involved in the murder of Shahzad could not be traced thus far, but the police and law enforcement agencies had been directed to continue investigations into the case. The commission had also proposed monetary compensation for Shahzad’s family, employment for his wife, and government-funded education for his children.
Talking to the media outside the Parliament House, the minister said that the report was being made public on the directives of the prime minister, and her ministry would be responsible for implementing the recommendations.

CJ Iftikhar has a selective sense of justice. In the case of Shahzad, real injustice was done and the SC cannot come to a conclusion even when the perpetrators were obvious to the whole nation. But in the imaginary "Memogate", the SC sees injustice and wants to set the record straight. So much for an independent judiciary !!
Judiciary didn't show the same level of enthusiasm at it has demonstrated in others. Mr. Hamid Mir and Mr. Rauf Klasra, please take extra care of yourselves. There are vultures hovering.

@ishaq An independent judiciary does not mean that they start making things up. A judge can only base his report on the evidence and facts infront of him, which in this case haven't sadly stacked up. All this proves is Journalism in Pakistan is a very dirty and dangerous thing. .

This report has a whole lot of nothing in it. Is this report a trial ballon for the Abbottabad Commission Report? After wasting hundreds of millions and six months they are recommending 3 million for the family! The justice PCO style.
Why have a Judicial Commission? The whole world knows who killed him and the the reason for it. Case closed.
Can I please know the total budget/expenses of the commission ?
My guess, it ran into more than 50 million rupees.
What an absolute waste of money based on the findings of the commission.
