KARACHI: The rallies of the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and the KESC solidarity committee are scheduled to be held in the red zone area today. The workers of the Karachi Electric Supply Company plan to march towards Governor House from the Karachi Press Club to protest against what they say is a violation of their agreement with the management. The JI sit-in will be held outside the police headquarters against the illegal detention of civilians by the intelligence agencies. Both processions are scheduled to be held after Friday prayers.
