One of many: Siemens also hit by power shortfall

Company is focusing on alternate energy especially solar, says Siemens CEO.

KARACHI: There is a shortfall in the power supply situation, however, when this is resolved we will be in the forefront because of our capabilities and local manufacturing, said Siemens Pakistan Chief Executive Officer Ali Hamdani at the annual general meeting. Hamdani said that the company is focusing on alternate energy especially solar and expects to make ground in that direction, according to a statement released on Thursday. He stated that there are always ups and downs in business but Siemens has the potential to make a strong come back and with his dedicated team he foresees a good future for the company.
