The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has instructed officials to prioritise the completion of the data entry project of the Election Commission.
According to a press release issued on Tuesday, NADRA deputy chairman Tariq Malik has instructed all registration centres (NRCs) to carry out data entry of the ECP till February 5. While addressing a wide general managers’ conference, Malik said that ECP data entry project is of ‘extreme national importance’.
He said that all concerned are looking towards NADRA for its timely completion, adding that the authority must come up to the expectations of the nation.
Malik has also instructed that all resources deputed on registration work on Sundays and other gazette holidays, till the completion of the ECP Data Entry Project and till the operational situation reverts back to normal. He also directed that appropriate banners/guidance boards should be displayed on all NRCs.
