The body of a woman was found in the Civil Line police station precincts on Monday. According to police officials, Islam Nagar resident Muhammad Siddique’s wife Nasreen, 45, was allegedly murdered by unknown assailants who broke into her house on Monday evening. Nasreen worked as a principal in a private school and her neighbours told police officials that she had recently received threatening phone calls after she refused admission to the children of a local land owner based on merit. On Monday, some unidentified assailants broke into her house and slit her throat with a sharp edged weapon. Police officials have registered a case.
