Addressing a press conference, Sub-divisional Police Officer (DSP) Raja Taifour Akhter said the police arrested one Bushra Bibi, a resident of Nowshera, and recovered 2kg hashish from her possession. He said she is a member of an inter-provincial gang of drugs smugglers, who use females as carrier to supply drugs to various parts of Punjab, including Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Lahore. In another crackdown, police nabbed three men, Muhammad Ayaz of Abbottabad, Mohammad Basheer of Mansehra and Zahid Khan, and recovered 3 kg heroin and hashish from their possessions.
