Enraged: Flood victims demand financial assistance

SEHWAN SHARIF: A large number of flood victims blocked the Indus Highway near the Bhaan Syedabad bypass on Sunday to protest against the fact that the government had not given them financial assistance to rebuild their homes. The people, who belonged to the union councils Dal and Talti, said that the deputy commissioner of Jamshoro and assistant commissioner of Sehwan were issuing Pakistan Watan cards on a political basis.
