London dreams: Aamir and SRK dine together

NEW DEHLI: Are they friends or foes? One can’t seem to figure the two out. According to a report, Shah Rukh and Aamir were spotted dining together in London. Also at the dinner were SRK’s wife Gauri and best friend, filmmaker Karan Johar.

The two dined at the Hakkasan restaurant in London and an onlooker said, “There were some jokes being cracked over which SRK and Aamir were laughing a lot. Gauri seemed to enjoy herself watching these guys cracking up.”

While Aamir is in London to promote his home production Peepli Live, Shah Rukh is in the city shooting for his superhero movie Ra.One with Kareena Kapoor.

Aamir invited Shah Rukh, Gauri and Johar to a private screening of Peepli Live, but only Johar made it to the screening and raved about it on Twitter.

Reports that the two actors, who are Bollywood’s most bankable stars, do not get along have circulated for years. The two publicly argued in December 2008 while they were promoting their films Ghajini and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

But in April 2009, Aamir and Shah Rukh appeared to have put their differences behind them when they led a press conference during a dispute between multiplex owners and film producers.
