Official Residence: Allotment to 4 DMG officers cancelled

LAHORE:

The Punjab government has cancelled residential allotments made to four senior District Management Group (DMG) officers residing in GOR-I.

The officials had been posted in federal government two years ago.

The allotments were cancelled under the Allotment Policy. Under the policy rules officers have to vacate an official residence allocated to them no later than two years after being posted out of the province.

The officers whose allotments were cancelled include a former chied secretary and now Federal Board of Revenue chairman Salman Siddique.

Others whose allotments were cancelled are Shahid Rashid who left the Punjab in April 2007 and Khwaja Muhammad Naeem and Agha Nadeem, both of whom were posted out of the province in June 2008.
