Terrorism: Two arrested near Shehzad Town

Islamabad police on Tuesday said they had foiled a terrorism bid and arrested two suspects

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad police on Tuesday said they had foiled a terrorism bid and arrested two suspects near Shehzad Town. A team of the Criminal Investigation Department raided a house in Shakrial on the outskirts of the city and rounded up Ali Gul and Akbar Ali. They were shifted to an undisclosed location for investigations, said a police official. The official added that the police in Peshawar nabbed a suspected suicide bomber on the information provided by the two suspects. The police in Peshawar also recovered a suicide jacket, he added.
