LAHORE: Justice Sheikh Ahmad Farooq of Lahore High Court on Tuesday declined to hearing a petition challenging an order of the sessions court about calling report from police on former Punjab chief minister Dost Muhammad Khosa’s petition seeking recovery of his former wife Sapna Khan. Justice Farooq observed that he was not inclined to hear the instant case due to personal reasons and referred it to Chief Justice for fixing it before another bench. Missal Khan, father of Sapna, filed the petition stating that Khosa did not seek recovery of his former wife. His counsel prayed the court to set aside the order of the additional district and session court. Missal Khan has also filed another petition requesting the court to summon Khosa and direct him to file an affidavit with regard to information he had about the kidnapping and possible murder of Sapna. The judge refused to hear this petition as well.
