Enmity: Seven of a family shot dead

GUJRAT: Seven members of a family, including a constable, were shot dead over an old enmity in Guliana on Monday. Police said some unidentified men shot Zulfiqar, Mehboob, Mobin, Usman, Imran and Constable Shafiq in the neighbourhood market, and fled. Family of the deceased men placed the bodies on the main highway and protested, seeking immediate arrest of the murderers. They also threw stones at policemen, injuring three of them. They ended the protest after the SHO assured them of immediate action.
