New Year Night: 16 teams to check illegal activities

FAISALABAD: As many as 16 district administration and police teams patrolled the city on Saturday night to take action against people found firing bullets and riding motorcycles on one wheel on the New Year night. The district administration claimed that it has made a comprehensive plan to check illegal activities. They said action would also be taken against people for playing music on loud volume, driving cars and motorcycles without silencers, and holding dance shows to celebrate the night. Two teams were to perform duties in each of Faisalabad’s towns. Assistant Commissioners and TMOs were to supervise their performance.
