Armed robbery: Mill workers deprived of belongings

Robbers had set up picket on road near Pul Jaggatan where they stopped a bus taking workers home from the mill.

FAISALABAD: Valuables including cash and cell phones were taken away from several mill workers in a robbery on Friday night.

The robbers had set up a picket on road near Pul Jaggatan where they stopped a bus taking workers home from the mill.

They held the passengers at gunpoint and robbed them of their belongings. Passengers complained that Lundianwala and Jaranwala Sadar police were yet to register their complaint as both stated that the area where robbery took place did not come under their jurisdiction.
