We should all pray for Arifa that she may have a speedy and full recovery.
LAHORE: Arifa Karim Randhawa, who met Bill Gates in 2004 when she was only nine years old, may need a miracle to continue living. From what doctors have to say about her, it seems that the life-support machine which is sustaining her could be switched off any time.
But there is hope. I have seen people recover from similar conditions. Although such cases are only few and far in between, we should never lose hope. We should all pray for her and that she may have a speedy and full recovery. It is true that such attacks can leave very negative effects on the central nervous system and a person’s cognitive abilities but we must never lose hope.
