Convocation: 113 students get gold medals
The Federal Urdu University for Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) held its annual convocation on Thursday.
KARACHI:
The Federal Urdu University for Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) held its annual convocation on Thursday, in which 113 students received gold medals and 17 students received their PhD degrees. The chairman of the National Science Foundation, Dr Manzoor Hussain Soomro was there as chief guest and said that FUUAST was the only university in the country with a focus on Urdu. He added that his foundation would provide financial assistance to the university and help construct the Department of Pharmacy.
