KARACHI: Top seeds Aqeel Khan and Yasir Khan entered the final of the ninth Subhe Nau National Hardcourt Tennis Championship at the CDGK Sports Complex. Aqeel overcame the talented Heera Aashiq, who threatened the top-seed with an impressive display in the second set before going down 6-0, 7-6. In the other semi-final, Yasir defeated his experienced opponent Nomi Qamar 7-5, 6-2. Meanwhile, Talha Zubair and Saad Noor qualified for the semi-finals of the boys’ under-18 event.
