The Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) on Tuesday put up over a hundred art pieces by a group of its own students on display.
Using water and oil paints, pestles and pencil, the group of 21 students of painting and calligraphy depicted landscapes, historical buildings, famous personalities and calligraphic art in their works.
The week-long exhibit was inaugurated by noted artist Tasneem Abbas, who she said that “truthfulness and love for art” is evident in the works of the young artists. RAC Director Waqar Ahmed also spoke on the occasion.
