Addressing the media in Madarsah Jamia Qasim ul Uloom the JUI-F leader said that only power hungry nomads were joining the PTI. He criticized the group of industrialists, politicians and people joining PTI, adding that they will destroy Pakistan because they had no sense of political stability, survival and sovereignty of Pakistan.
“They are all just following power and trying to save the future of their political career,” he said.
Rehman further said that people were aware of the nature of nomads who keep moving for their survival and betterment, so is the case of the politicians and industrialists joining PTI who will fail eventually.
Speaking on Memogate, the JUI-Chief said that the memo was a reality and that the issues raised in the memo were important and should not be neglected. He said the case should be investigated on merit in the Parliament.
He said, “I will soon suggest a comprehensive and valid formula to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani to unite all pure political parties of Pakistan.”
Rehman also criticised the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, saying that they have been lying as they have all proofs of agreements between Pakistan with United States and India during the Musharraf regime.
He said no decisions would be made under pressure from the judiciary, army and establishment and if circumstances in the country worsened, the government can hold elections before their tenure ends so as to show their support for the transparent and democratic electoral system.
Rehman has been visiting different religious madarsahs in southern Punjab to unite and gather people for the gathering organized by JUI-F on Monday in the Dera Ghazi hockey ground, which he will be leading. The JUI-F leader will be addressing a gathering there after 10 years.

@Tehreek-e-Insaf FATA: mullahh speaking no make fun of mullah :P
Is this gentleman upset as no one extended a party ticket from within PTI?
Riddance from such extreme religious and polarizing figures will benefit the nation. The sooner the better. In-Sha Allah!
he is wrong , did you notice ONE thing , when imran didnt announce the ISLAMIC and FALAHI nation he wants to make these molanas were silent , and as imran announced in his karachi massive jalsa that he wnna make pakistan an ISLAMIC and FALAAHI nation then all the molana pointing imran and firing their missiles against imran :) these mullas just want their monopoly atleast in the ISLAMIC parties :)
Look who is talking. Your own acts are familiar to all. You are crony who joins every Government of the day. huh. Naughty u dont befool or fool.
No doubt Maulana is not good reputed politician and his past is full of mis statements but his mentioned point cannot be totally rejected. Think over just think over, what waiting for Qureshi, Hashmi and Qusoori were, Y they did not joint pti a few months ago. Even they did not give any hint of it. When drawed the attention they rushed there............. Dont be Emotional guys just remember " There is no heart in chest of politics" & "enemies are not enemies and friends are not friends forever in politics"
People are looking at the person here and not what he is saying.
Words of wisdom should be appreciated, from wherever they come. Don't vote for him, if you don't like him. But he is saying the truth.
Imran initially said that he would bring change. But now he has started recruiting feudal lords, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Kasuri, Sardar Asif, Legharis, etc. He initially stated that he is against corrupt. Now he says, "Pakistan main farishtay nahin rahtay, agar mayar sakht rakha to party nahin bana sakoon ga".
Someone should ask him, all those persons who are in favour of Imran, never asked him to induct feudal lords, in his party. People gave him selfless support. But he has started to rely on old politicians instead of people of Pakistan. He should know that politicians need him, he does not need them.
and isn't imran (confirmed by him as well) the person who supported musharraf when he came in power ?
@Seeta White!:
If Actors( Ronald Reagan), Teachers, (Ahmedinejad, Manmohan Singh), Shoe shine boy( DeSelva of Brazil), news reader (Christie Clarke of British Columbia) can, then anyone who is honest and sincere can also lead.
He should throw his weight behind Imran and give Pakistan an honest government. People like him can make Pakistan a peaceful prosperous country.
Mualana sahib is venting out his anger on the wrong way. He should be blaming PML N for ditching him.
What has happened to ET's claim of keeping the comments free of hate speech and personal attacks. Every body is seem to have no argument but polemical words? My dear country people, what has happened to you? Have you gone blind?
You must analyse the words of a person, not the person himself. If you want to analyze personalities, then I think oulana is 1000 times better than morally corrupt Imran Khan, who are you fooling?
PTI is Pakistan's Tonga Institute and will remain so.. We have seen such jalsas before too... in 1996 and again and again... Cricketers and singers can not run the country... and WE will not allow it!
Maulana, You'll understand.
Doctrine of necessity has forced PTI to accept all the rot from Q League and PPP
I guess even adorable furry lil monsters can be right sometimes. Though there was some exaggeration in what he said. But, that's usually a given in any political statement.
Pakistan desreves people like Maulana FazelRahman. A classic paki mullah....
One heck of a supporter of existing corrupt government.
Very true that power hungry nomads have been joining PTI as they want to save their political career. As Pakistan already experienced during Musharraf tenure that many stalwarts of Nawaz Sharif joined PML-Q only to get power.
If Imran change this man, I will vote PTI.
Lolz..look who is talking here :D
If a doctor who is a smoker tells the patients the truth that smoking is bad, this does not mean his statement is wrong. If all these lotas, Pirs, and Chiefs were sincere to PTI and IK, why did they take a couple of decades to join him? Whey did they only join when the winds of power started blowing in that direction?
The Maulana said "no decisions would be made under pressure from the judiciary, army and establishment and if circumstances in the country worsened, the government can hold elections before their tenure ends so as to show their support for the transparent and democratic electoral system." The govt should announce a date in coming summer for early elections. Let the SC and EC complete the voter's lists ASAP before the end of March 2012. The SC has given the EC this much time and they should do it. This way, all the undemocratic forces would have nothing to complaint about. The PML-N would be the biggest loser and PTI might win some of those seats of Shahs, Pirs, Mukhdooms, and other Chiefs and appear a real political party. Fazal is the most pragmatic politician in Pakistan and that is why despite his tiny party, he has been a part of many govts. It is not who is saying, it is what is he saying?
Molana diesel wants to have more diesel permits
Nowadays every political leader is bent upon joining PTI for the sake of securing political future, I am afraid that one fine morning Maulana Fazalur Rehman may also decide to join PTI.
lets see whom pti will give final ticket to contest just before the elections and yeah look whose talking here
@nelta john: And earlier, you had a belly ache that Imran lacked experienced politicians. And now you have developed a new objection. Will you, and the like of you, ever stop? Quaid left congress to join muslim league. Go figure.
An awkward moment
Those joining the PTI are the ones who deserved to be in great positions. And Power hungry how? Imran was alone without them, they embraced a lonely man, how can this be a power hungry stance?
Maulana Diesel! bas kar dein!
i and my shia brothers will vote for pti in big numbers because of guys like fazlur
Diesel talk!
ha ha.. look whose talking. who could be more hungry than you mr fazlurehman.
Pure Political Parties.... seriously??
And Maulana Fazlur Rehman considers himself honest and credible? This must be a joke
@Talha:
Rahman ihas spoken the truth. Give him credit for bringing the truth to light. Lots of those joining the PTi are not doing so because of love for country. They are doing so because they did not get the positon they wanted.
The term "takes one to know one" comes to mind. Hunger for power is a common denominator amongst politicians.
Thalli ka baingan! How can we even tolerate such people!!
It so appears that he has not been invited by PTI so far to join the party. Ho sakta hai ab iska bhi number lag jaye.
I agree to Maulana and he is right in his saying.Todya i listen Imran khan speech carefully and there was nothing new.he want to go within the same political sytem and nothing new in his agenda and program with same old thoghts and ideologies as of other old politicians.Old wine in new bottle is enough to describe thier so called CHANGE.Once again Pakistan will slip into the of wrong mans
hoarded diesel on fire i guess.
Moulana Saab Jaan deyo!!
look who is saying
The Maulana is absolutely right. If PTI had anything good at all, these turncoats will ruin it.
Maulana sahab will finally be out of the power!
What i can infer from the line " POWER HUNGRY NOMADS " is that at least hez optimistic about PTI`s Future :P
If JUI-F Chief is saying something... We should "BELIEVE" it
Moulana Munafiq is the most power hungry hulk in the politics of Pakistan.
Diesel is out of his range thts why he is looking tipsy
one thing is sure, who ever forms the next govt, maulana will be part of it and that includes army
obtuseness taken to the next level!
Isnt he the guy who delayed his resignation to ensure the NA retained its quorum and thus allowed Mush to be reelected.
Maulana sb - seems you have run out of Diesel!
New level of Irony!
Maulana Diesel!
Power hungry nomads can be used to describe JUI-F and its leaders.
Odd for maulana to call others power hungry.
sour grapes???
kettle calling the pot black
