Training: 19 journalists receive Danish training

DANIDA completes its first training programme for Pakistani media persons.

ISLAMABAD: The Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) completed its first training programme for Pakistani media persons during which 19 journalists were trained on how to collect data and report on disasters through advanced use of social media. The training programme included a two-week visit to Denmark, where the first week provided journalists opportunity to meet and interact with key stakeholders in Denmark, including Danish media houses. The programme was designed and implemented by the Danish Embassy in Islamabad in joint collaboration with the Danish School of Media and Journalism.
