ISLAMABAD:

Floral arts can be used as a medium to spread the message of national integration and harmony. President of Floral Art Society of Pakistan (FASP) Sameena Khan stated this while speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a workshop “Creative Tables” here the other day.

Sameena Khan said the FASP is working to promote floral arts among the youngsters and fostering creativity through floral expressions. She urged the women to take interest in healthy activities such as floral arrangements, which can help them become financially strong. She said the society has plans to hold floral exhibitions in schools and colleges as well.

Earlier, Yasmeen Sohail demonstrated some floral arrangements and gave tips to the participants on the topic. The participants appreciated the FASP for organizing the workshop, saying they learnt “a lot” from the experience.
