Joint venture: Slaughter house opening on Dec 25
Lahore Meat Processing Complex had a capacity of slaughtering 1,000 big and 1,200 small animals a day.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will inaugurate a slaughterhouse on December 25. Punjab Agriculture Meat Company officials said that the Lahore Meat Processing Complex had a capacity of slaughtering 1,000 big and 1,200 small animals a day besides providing cold storage. The complex was completed in 11 months. The machines have been imported from Netherlands and Turkey. The project is a joint venture with Iran.
