Any other day will do: Rafique makes a request of PTI, JTI

MPA Pervez Rafique asked PTI and JTI to cancel their political gatherings in deference to the Christian community.

LAHORE: MPA Pervez Rafique, on Friday, asked Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-i-Islami (JTI) to cancel their respective political gatherings to be held on the Christmas Day (December 25) in deference to the Christian community. Talking on a point of order during the Punjab Assembly session, Rafique said Christmas was respected all over the world. He said it should be shown the same respect in Pakistan.
He asked the leadership of PTIand JI to extend this courtesy as a goodwill gesture to the Christians community by scheduling their respective political events on some other day.

Ask the MPA how does the jalsa(s) interfere in Christmas celebrations ? PTI has invited Christians for attending the gathering in Karachi and support the cause !
