FAISALABAD: A Sargodha Road police station sub inspector was arrested on charges of faulty investigation of a murder case. He was sent to jail after registration of a case under Section 155-C of the Police Orders 2002 on directives of DSP Mehr Shoaib. The inquiry was launched against SI Bashir Ahmed after he had submitted an investigation report in the case to SSP Investigation Mujahid Akbar. The SSP had expressed dissatisfaction over the report.
