Child Assault: Teenager caught ‘red handed’

A teenage boy was beaten up by a group of people in Ichhra for allegedly attempting to molest a seven year old.

LAHORE: A teenage boy was beaten up by a group of people in Ichhra on Tuesday for allegedly attempting to molest a seven year old. Police said that the boy, a resident of Khanewal who worked as a tailor in Javed Market, took the girl to an under construction house. They said the girl’s shouts for help attracted a group of men. The boy tried to flee, but was caught and beaten up. The girl’s father was informed and the boy was handed over to the police. The girl’s family said she had gone to the market to buy a burger. Rana Naseem Ahmad, in charge of the investigation, said that the boy had confessed.
