Football: No goals in Navy, PIA league game

KARACHI: Navy and PIA played out a goal-less draw in their Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match in Islamabad yesterday. Despite the draw, PIA hold on to fourth place in the league table with 49 points after 28 matches, whereas Navy occupy 10th position with 34 points. Meanwhile, ZTBL were crowned champions of the Pakistan Football Federation League after they brushed aside Wohaib FC 3-1 in the second-division league final. Both teams will be promoted to the PPFL next season, replacing teams which finish 15th and 16th in the first-division.
