Football: Army, NBP post wins in football league

KARACHI: Army defeated KESC 1-0 in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) while NBP beat Navy 2-0. In the first match, Shakeel Yousuf scored the winner for Army just four minutes before the final whistle. Meanwhile, Navy contained NBP in the first half of their encounter. However, Waseem Qadir scored the opener for NBP in the 52nd minute while Ateequllah sealed the win with his team’s second goal in the 71st minute.
