Hit and run: Couple shot, injured over minor dispute

RAWALPINDI:

Seven unidentified men opened fire at a couple in the New Town area here over a minor dispute on Saturday.

Tanzeelur Rehman lodged a complaint with the police that an unknown man got into a dispute with him over a parking space outside their house, which ended in an exchange of harsh words.

Later, the same man rang his doorbell. When Rehman’s brother opened the door, the man and his six accomplices opened fire at his brother and sister-in-law.  As a result, both were seriously injured and taken to a hospital.

Meanwhile, the police registered a case and started investigation.
