According to the police, a group of men armed with sophisticated weapons barged into Fahmida Qadir Bakhsh’s house and opened fire at her, killing her instantly.
Police rushed to her house soon after the incident but the attackers had managed to escape from the scene.
Bakhsh’s body was shifted to the Civil hospital Turbat for autopsy.
According to doctors, she received multiple bullet wounds on her upper torso which caused her instant death.
Talking to The Express Tribune about the motive behind the murder, a senior police officer said, “It would be premature to comment over the murder since investigations are underway. She was alone at her house in the morning when armed men shot her dead.”
He added that security had been beefed up across Turbat after the murder.
A case had been registered against the unknown assailants and an investigation is underway.

Another sad day for balochistan. Sadly, just like other incidents, no one will ever be convicted or brought to justice for this.
Now women? Who's next?
If this is related to politics then those claiming baloch rights are now quite clearly working with known foreign agencies.
PML N has been very vocal for the rights of baloch and by targetting its members so brutally these people are going to loose their credibility and political support in the country
BLA/BRA terrorists killing fellow Balochs in their violent clan war to impose rule of their nawabs over the free people.
Balochistan has changed...killing women means no honor is left!
Very tragic..
