Football: Navy pummel KPT in football league

KARACHI: Navy thrashed KPT 6-3 in their Pakistan Premier Football League match in Islamabad. Asif Bukhsh scored the opener for Navy in the second minute, while Nomi Martin Gill doubled the lead on 12 minutes. KPT pulled one back through Akhtar Amul’s goal, but Gill scored his second and Naveed Ahmed added a fourth to give Navy a 4-1 half-time lead. KPT’s Mohammad Amir struck in the 60th minute only to see Navy’s Abdul Haq score two minutes later. Jabbar Hussain’s goal in the 75th minute sealed the victory for Navy.
