After the director general of Colleges, Nasir Ansar, paid a surprise inspection visit to the Ayesha Bawany College on Wednesday, he issued notices to the principal, four teachers and a librarian due to their absence from the institution without any prior intimation.
He said that during his visit, he found out that the three faculty members were not coming to the college since December 7. Another had not come to the institution since December 2.
The principal, Prof. Faiyaz Sheikh, was not present during the surprise inspection as well. The associate professor, Noor Ahmed Sheikh, lecturers Abdul Ghaffar, Usman Ghani and Rafiq Ahmed Chachar as well as the librarian, Mahmood Hussain, have been issued notices along with Prof. Ghaffar.
