LAHORE:
Wapda clinched the 10th National Women’s Handball Championship after defeating Higher Education Commission 24-9 in the final held at Wapda Sports Complex, Lahore. Meanwhile, Punjab beat Army 11-7 to take the third position in the championship. Parveen Akhtar of Wapda was declared Player of the Championship, Zakira (Punjab) was declared the best scorer and Qurat ul Ain (HEC) was declared the best goal-keeper.
