Football: Army beat NBP, move up to fourth

KARACHI: Army defeated NBP 1-0 in the Pakistan Premier Football League, while PMC Athletico stunned KESC 2-1. After a dull first-half, Shakeel Yousuf scored the winner for Army in the 79th minute. Meanwhile, Athletico took the lead in the 35th minute through Mohammad Rashid’s goal, but KESC equalised in the 71st minute through Mohammad Rasool. Athletico had the last laugh as Naveed Mumtaz scored in the 82nd minute.
