Kaira said that the doctors attending to President Zardari had allowed him to resume obligations as his health condition is now improving.
The president told Kaira from Dubai over telephone on Saturday that the PPP leaders and workers were ready to face all national issues.
Zardari directed Kaira to inform party workers that they should face the situation with patience and that it was the policy of the party to keep all political parties on board under the reconciliation policy.
While talking to the media, Kaira said that PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif had become politically isolated as no party was supporting him and that he is now seeking help from nationalist parties.
He said that Mian Shahbaz Sharif went abroad after every couple of months for treatment but the PPP never drew attention to his visits, adding that it was unfortunate that some people were spreading conspiracies regarding the president’s illness instead of praying for his health.
He also said that there was tension between the United States and Pakistan after the Nato attack and that national unity was the need of the time in such condition. He added that those spreading rumours want to weaken the country.
Earlier this week, Zaradri flew to the United Arab Emirates after falling ill in the midst of a major scandal over alleged attempts by a close aide to seek US help to limit the power of Pakistan’s military.
His illness sparked media reports that he is contemplating resignation, but loyalists have ruled out any question that he may step down and the president has defied many critics in already holding onto power for three years.
“He had a minor heart attack on Tuesday. He flew to Dubai where he had an angioplasty. He’s in good health now,” Mustafa Khokhar, adviser to the prime minister on human rights who sits in the cabinet, told AFP.
“There’s no question of any resignation,” he added.

What? Zardari was sick? I thought he went for a check up? Who do i believe? How come we haven't seen a photograph of the President since his 'check up' in the ICU?
The whole nation is praying that President should return home soon with health and wealth.

According to a recent interview by BBC, our prime minister says that Zardari may need to take rest of two weeks in Dubai before returing home.. Fingers crossed..
Mr. President... if u really got sick and went thru all the tests... then did u realize that u r not going to live forever? and that the wealth created thru loot and plunder will also not accompany u in the next (REAL) journey...
How can people defy reality ... Amazing!
Contradictions appear to continue mr kaira saying he is fine but just on bbc pm gilani has said he is fast recovering but wil need further two weeks before he returns! Whatever happened to the so called routine checkp!

I do not think he will return soon.
I guess he can not resume presidential duties in Dubai. For this he has to come back to Islamabad in the first place.
I believe that government is not stating about the facts. However, it might be just a rumor to get benefit in the world of benefits by Peoples Party in Pakistan.
I hope our President realises that his country is beset with far greater problems than those effecting him. Doesn't his country deserve the same quality of attention that he got ?
What duties exactly???
huh ?
Well come home Mr. President.
