Two PML-N ticket-holders join PTI

Colonel (retired) Rafaqat from Vehari and Dr Major (retired) Iqbal Cheema from Sialkot have joined PTI.

LAHORE: Two Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) ticket-holders from Vehari and Sialkot, along with their supporters, joined Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday.

Colonel (retired) Rafaqat from Vehari and Dr Major (retired) Iqbal Cheema from Sialkot made the announcement in a meeting with PTI Punjab President Ahsan Rashid at the party’s provincial secretariat.

Rashid said that PTI would succeed in the upcoming elections with the support of the people of the country.

PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif had earlier addressed a rally in Larkana and it is expected that out of a list of 25 politicians a few will join party ranks today. The rest are expected to join after a meeting with him in Karachi, scheduled for December 15, sources have said.

Of prominent political families, the Mahars, Sheerazis, Arbabs, Mazaris and Jatois have finalised their terms.

@Adnan Butt: What about Arbab Rahim? Nwaz said that he will not take any Q league turn coat and now many added, what is it? Can you please explain?
