Quetta visit : Shehnaz on polio eradication mission

Polio has been increasing despite campaigns launched by the government in collaboration with Unicef.

QUETTA: Adviser to the prime minister on education and the focal person for coordination and monitoring of polio eradication Shehnaz Wazir Ali is due to arrive in Quetta for a two-day visit. On her arrival on Friday, Ali will hold separate meetings with Balochistan Chief Minister Aslam Raisani and Balochistan Chief Secretary Ahmed Bakhsh Lehri. The meetings will discuss health issues mainly pertaining to the eradication of polio in the province where the crippling disease has been increasing despite campaigns launched by the government in collaboration with Unicef.
