The commissioner Larkana division, Syed Asif Haider Shah, held a meeting to review development progress in the city and urged the officers to complete the Larkana Development Package and the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU) campus.
The general manager of the National Highway Authority told him that out of the total 28 kilometres of the Larkana-Moen jo Daro road, one side up to 21 kilometres will be completed by December 25. The vice-chancellor of SMBBMU, Professor Akber Hyder Soomro, also informed him that 220 acres of land have been acquired for the establishment of the university at airport road, whose boundary wall would be soon constructed.
