Cricket: Sialkot struggle against Abbottabad

Abbottabad were bowled out for 97 before reducing Sialkot to 77 for seven on a dramatic first day in their Quaid-i-Azam Trophy clash. According to information provided by the Pakistan Cricket Board, Sialkot’s Mohammad Imran starred with figures of six for 34. Abbottabad’s bowlers proved equally lethal as Ahmed Jamal picked up four wickets while Ikramullah got three. Elsewhere, Islamabad left Faisalabad tottering at 92 for eight, after having been bowled out for 169.  Meanwhile, Karachi Blues reached 211 for five against Rawalpindi with Yasir Mushtaq starring with 82. HBL were 241 for eight against Wapda following opener Ahmed Shahzad’s 58. Elsewhere, ZTBL will resume their innings on 239 for seven against NBP after Test discard Wahab Riaz picked up six for 72.  PIA were in trouble against SBP, having been bowled out for a paltry 137. In reply SBP were 77 for two at stumps.
