KARACHI: Two of the three suspects of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical College Hospital (JPMC) trainee nurse rape case have still not been arrested.

The doctor who allegedly raped the nurse is in police custody but his driver as well as the nurse who brought the victim to the doctor's house are still free.

Police officials said that the suspect nurse will be questioned, and her statement recorded, before she is arrested. The police also said that they are trying to go about things in a way that can minimise the chances of protests, or a strike, by the paramedical staff of the hospital.

The doctor's driver, Rashid, remains on the loose despite police raids in several areas.
