Football: Mehmood takes WAPDA to narrow win

KARACHI: Wapda defeated NBP 1-0 in their Pakistan Premier Football League match in Rawalpindi with captain Arif Mehmood scoring the winner in the 15th minute. With the win, the defending champions sit seventh in the standings with 42 points while NBP are one place below them with 41 points. In another match, KPT defeated PMC Athletico 1-0 in Faisalabad. Jamaluddin scored in the 53rd minute to seal the win for KPT. As a result, KPT climbs to ninth with 31 points while Athletico occupy 14th place with 24 points.
