Three Pakistanis arrested in London, Malik takes notice

Interior minister asks FIA to investigate matter, produce report within three days.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Monday took notice of the arrest of three Pakistanis in London while demanding the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) to start a probe into the matter, reported Express News.

He called for the FIA to communicate with the Interpol to investigate the matter and present a report within three days.

Malik also asked for the flight schedule and other records to be sealed.

On Sunday, three Pakistani, including one woman, were arrested by the British police at the Heathrow airport during a raid on PIA flight PK-785, which had departed from Islamabad.

According to sources, the authorities in London are interrogating the suspects.

The British police has beefed up security and has been arresting several suspects allegedly involved in terrorism in London. Four arrested suspects are due to appear in the British court on charges of travelling to Pakistan to receive terrorist training. Several others arrests have also been made.
