KARACHI: Twenty more repaired locomotives will be added to the fleet of Pakistan Railways (PR) during this month, taking the figure up to 40 in total. Up to 80 more locomotives are still undergoing repairs. Chairman Railway Workers Union Manzoor Ahmed Razi urged the need to speed up the process and relieve the suffering of passengers. Added locomotives will make the operations of the passenger train service smoother and the suspended trains as well as the highly-profitable freight train service will also be restored, said Manzoor. He added that the first priority of the department is however to facilitate passengers.
