Clan clash: Six villagers injured near Sindh border

SUKKUR: An attack on Jazib Khan Domki village near Kandhkot and the Sindh-Balochistan border left six people, including two women, injured on Thursday. The villagers were working on the fields when a group of men attacked them with rockets. The attackers managed to escape while Ali Khan Shaikh, Khair Mohammad Shaikh, Ali Hassan Shaikh, Ali Murad Shaikh, Mai Sardaran Shaikh and Mai Koonjan Shaikh were taken to Buxapur hospital. Jazib Khan Domki’s cousin Hanif spoke to the media and blamed the Bugti tribe for trying to take over the land. He said that the Bugti men attacked the villagers in order to scare them off. “We are living between Sindh and Balochistan,” he said.”After a police operation, the area became quite peaceful but the attacks have started again.” No case was registered when this report was filed.
